The Dancer Mouse has decentralized lead to fly away and fall back into recovery. The tail is flexible and sinuous to develop additional vibrations, while the blade is assisted by a rolling type swivel.

Under pressure from the predator's mouth, the smooth hollow body collapses, exposing the deadly ends of the high-carbon steel double hook.

At the nose, the line connection loop is sealed to prevent water ingress.
